Priyanka Chopra didn't know if her baby would survive six months after birth

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas  celebrated the first year of their daughter, Malti Marie, at the beginning of 2023. The little girl was conceived through a surrogate and although everything seemed to be going well from the beginning, the baby spent his first 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) due to his premature birth .

Nick and I were standing there while she was being intubated. I don’t know how they found what they needed (in her little body) from her to intubate her , ”added the interpreter.

The famous actress, who began her acting career in Bollywood , opened up about that stage of her life during the talk and pointed out the fear she felt at the thought that her daughter would not survive the delicate moment of health she was going through , being intubated so young. ” I didn’t know if she would make it or not ,” said the actress.

According to what was exposed by the magazine, the couple moved daily, for three months, to Rady Children’s Hospital in La Jolla, a few hours south of Los Angeles , and then they transferred it to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
