Kate Middleton pledged that her campaign organized by The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood will give parents “the best information and support they need to raise their children” in the early years.

At an event held on the eve of the project’s launch and where the Prince and Princess of Wales were photographed at BAFTA in London, Kate spoke about the “critical importance” of the first five years of a child’s life and its influence on their future.

The princess’s “Shaping Us” campaign aims to improve society’s understanding of the importance of early childhood in shaping adulthood and society as a whole.

Kate arrived at the social event in a bright red suit that did not go unnoticed. She was accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and a host of celebrity followers.

The Princess of Wales said: “The campaign is fundamentally about highlighting the critical importance of early childhood and how it shapes the adults we become. During this time we lay the foundations and building blocks for life.”
